We have commercialized PSA-based CH4 Recovery systems that separate and purify high-purity methane from biogas.
Biogas is a very important renewable energy for the future, and ASPE Inc. has secured and commercialized the original technology for the separation and purification of high-purity methane gas using the PSA method. Biogas consists of methane, carbon dioxide, and flue gases and comes from landfills, agricultural waste treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and anaerobic digesters (food, livestock sewage, wastewater, etc.). Refined, high-purity methane gas is very useful for automobile fuel and natural gas supply.

It is a device that separates and purifies methane and carbon dioxide from biogas (methane + carbon dioxide + other gases) generated at wastewater treatment facilities, food waste/livestock manure anaerobic digesters, and landfills, using membrane and PSA methods.
We offer both membrane systems and PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) systems, applied according to site conditions.
Yes, we have 5 or more biogas purification references, which you can view on our projects page.
It can be installed at sewage/wastewater treatment plants, food waste and livestock manure anaerobic digestion facilities, and landfills generating landfill gas (LFG).
The purified methane gas is used according to on-site purposes (power generation, vehicle fuel, city gas injection, etc.). Recently, we have also been carrying out projects that convert purified methane into syngas containing hydrogen through SMR (steam methane reforming), then purify it using H2 PSA. Please contact us (+82-31-319-6845 / psa@aspe.kr) for specific applications.
These vary depending on capacity and installation conditions — please contact us by phone (+82-31-319-6845) or email (psa@aspe.kr) for details.
